At last year’s Geneva Motor Show Italians showed mid-engine sports car Nuccio, named in honor of Nuccio Bertone, head of the studio from 1946 to 1997. The concept car was made in the spirit of the development of the 70-80’s of the last century, when the company was at the peak of its success. Vehicle will be equipped with a 4.3-liter eight-cylinder engine with capacity of 430 horsepower.

In 2011, Bertone brought to Geneva a concept Jaguar B99, which was built in honor of its 99th anniversary (Bertone founded in 1912). Prior to that, the Italians made prototypes “Jaguars” called Pirana and Ascot in 1967 and 1977. The car had a hybrid power plant with capacity of 578 horsepower and could drive on electric motor for about hundred kilometers.
