Already a long time nothing was heard about the Ford Start Concept, but we think something should appear in the near future. From the publications of automotive news reports that, according to executive director of Ford Motor – Co Alan Myulalli, their company is considering the possibility of producing small budget cars in the B segment, designed on the basis of Ford Fiesta. Alas, we can not affect the final decision, but it would be nice if the concept car from Ford in 2013 would fill the small car market.

This unnamed model is likely to take place of the old minicar Ford Ka. In operating system, it will borrow a platform from Fiesta, but with the exception that it will be produced by Fiat, as it was with the real Ford Ka. The purpose of this car is quite clear – to offer the consumer a car with a lower price than the Fiesta, Ford will therefore help expand the segment market. In the article one of the publications mentioned that this model will be a global car, but at the same time, the author did not give a hint to where the car is going to be sold. Currently, the naked eye can see that the small car market is growing with such outstanding representatives, like the Fiat 500 and the Chevrolet Spark and so on, but first of all representatives of Ford evaluate long-term sales.
