Special BMW version the M4 DTM Champion Edition Part I

Company BMW M GmbH unveiled a special version of the coupe BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition, created in honor of the DTM champion in 2014 season – Marco Wittmann. The car is equipped with a six-cylinder engine M TwinPower Turbo facility of 431 hp and a robotic gearbox with two clutches M DCT Drivelogic, M Carbon ceramic brakes and an optional M Driver’s Package. Coupe takes 4.1 seconds to beat the 100 km / h, with fuel consumption in the combined cycle 8.8 liters per 100km.

The head of BMW Motorsport Jens Marquardt announced that 24-year-old Wittmann will represent the factory crew BMW Team RMG in subsequent seasons. In addition, he will have the opportunity to fulfill the dream of his childhood and to be tested in Formula-1 team Scuderia Toro Rosso. The Champion Edition Modification will be released in a limited edition of 23 copies – the number corresponds to the number of the car, on which competed Wittmann. A special version of BMW M4 Champion Edition, as a racing BMW M4 DTM, will be presented only in one color – Alpine White.

Matte black hood and trunk lid has a spectacular “striped” pattern, as well as the characteristic black line running along the sides of the car, in perfect harmony with the carbon fiber roof, which is part of standard equipment BMW M4.
