New Tuning for Volkswagen Golf

German tuning house Cam Shaft and MTB have joined forces to create a new tuning kit for the Volkswagen Golf VI R. The sixth generation of this megapopular hatchback model will soon give way to the coming seventh, but Cam Shaft and MTB decided to inhale new life into the current generation and try to extract some more power from the 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine with direct injection.

The engine that was given to this model from the manufacturer has an output of 266 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Tuners managed to raise these rates to the level of 325 hp and 430 Nm – by chip tuning, spark plugs with platinum-plated parts and new exhaust system including sports catalyst and downpipe. It must be noted that the exterior of the model changed as well, now it seems to be more stylish, more aggressive and somewhat modernized.

Increase in power has led to a logical enhancement of the model’s brake system in the form of brake discs F2000 Tarox, sports brake pads. Auto suspension was upgraded with new springs from H & R. Wheels were taken from the OZ Ultraleggera. Finishing touches were completed by the team Cam Shaft, who have gave the car Vinyl colors of Electric Orange from BRUXSAFOL.
