New minivan Mercedes-Benz Vito was finishing post-sales in the German tuning shop Hartmann. Tuners tried to make car’s appearance more sports, performing the role of commercial vehicles or family cars. In addition, the Germans cared about his impressions of the driver, increasing engine performance and improved handling. Even more modest upgrade touched the interior, although it was enough for customization.
Selecting modification 119 CDi Tourer BlueTec, team Hartmann increased the capacity for 3.0-liter V-shaped turbo diesel six-cylinder engine from the original 190 horsepower and 440 Newton meters of maximum torque to 224 horses and 505 newton meters. For this increase was enough to just plug the new electronic engine control unit, while a sportier sound diesel exhaust system provided with a pair of chrome-plated terminal connections.
