German tuning studio Vath presented the program of improvements for the “charged” wagon Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG S. In particular, the experts were able to enhance the value of 585-strong (900 Nm of torque) 5.5-liter biturbo “eight” of 750 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque (electronically limited).
Increase in capacity was achieved through the installation of new turbochargers, exhaust system reconfiguration, as well as by reprogramming the engine-ECU. The cost of modernization was estimated at 24 740 euros.
Tuners and electronic speed limiter removed, resulting in a “maximum speed” wagon is 350 kilometers per hour. Data on dispersal to hundred kilometers per hour are not given. The usual Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S is able to gain a first “hundreds” of 3.7 seconds.
